Description
The braking resistor REOHM 154 protects the machine from a voltage rise in the intermediate circuit, if an electric machine operates as a generator (Electromotive brake). The current reduces also the speed of the machine.

Braking resistor for drives with frequency converters of low to medium power or as a charging resistor. Installation close to the frequency converter.

In the event of destruction, the resistance becomes high, so every series can be supplied with a temperature switch. The specified performance values were with a horizontal position of the resistors in the air with a distance of min. 100mm to the ground. The performance values refer to the standard products with a normal tolerance of +/- 10% at an ambient temperature of 20 ° C.
