This year, REO AG marks a century of success. What began in 1925 with the motto “Reklame Erster Ordnung” (First-class advertising) and a small factory producing lighting solutions for cinemas and advertising media has grown to an internationally operating company with locations in Europe, the USA and Asia.

Over the decades, REO has evolved into a leading manufacturer of inductive, resistive and electronic components and system solutions. By the 1950s, the company was supplying its first major industrial customers, and from the 1970s onwards, international subsidiaries were established. Today, its core competencies include innovative products developed and manufactured in Germany to the highest quality standards for railway technology, medical and drive technology, industrial automation and e-mobility.

As a family-owned company now in its fourth generation, REO combines tradition with a forward-looking approach: quality, innovation, and sustainability continue to shape its philosophy.

Anniversary celebration in Berlin

The 100th anniversary was celebrated with a ceremony at the Estrel Hotel in Berlin. In addition to employees from Germany, numerous colleagues from the company’s international branches attended the celebration. It was a unique opportunity for a “family reunion”. A gala dinner, the ‘Stars in Concert’ show and other surprises provided an exceptional experience that highlighted the team spirit and unity within the company.

Even after 100 years, REO AG remains focused on the future: With investments in research and development, sustainable production processes, and cutting-edge digital solutions, the company aims to continue setting new standards. The focus is on energy-efficient products, groundbreaking system solutions and close partnerships with customers worldwide.
