Over the course of a century, REO has continued to develop – technologically, structurally and geographically. From its beginnings in advertising technology and cinema lighting, the first products for industry quickly emerged. With increasing electrification and the advent of modern technologies, REO opened up more and more new markets and areas of application. The company’s headquarters were relocated from Berlin to Solingen after the Second World War and in the decades that followed, the company not only advanced the technological development of its products, but also expanded its international presence with sales offices in Europe, North America and Asia.
